For me the reasoning behind choosing Drake as topic was quite simple, I have a huge passion for his music and theres plenty of content to go through. He's a very prominent social figure thats seen everywhere but many people don't know about and being the huge fan I am I took it upon myself to try and change that up. Theres plenty of music to go through and making the reviews was not that much of a challenge. One of the first questions I asked myself is what makes an album a good album and there were many different ways I could've went from there. First things first an album is meant to sell and that was one of the large factors in the rankings, social reactions and the musics influence also played a large role. It was interesting to see what other large music critics thought of the different music and learned to see even as a fan there are weak points in everything that you assume might not be there. Coming up with my article was as enjoyable as could be and a very enjoyable experience. The critical thinking involved in making these decisions seems simple but as your picking all the different reasons for your judgement it becomes a lot more of a worthwhile task. I hope the people who read these articles will get a better understanding of a celebrity who will continue to be in our lives for many years and maybe even fall in love with what he does. -Mohamed Shawesh
The reasoning behind me choosing how Drake became famous for my article is simply because I didn't know much about Drake. I always wondered how Drake became famous in such a short amount of time, because until recently I had not heard of the name Drake before. But all of a sudden Drake became one of the most well known names in the music industry. Finding out how Drake became famous was an interesting experience because I learned many things about him that I had never known, like how he was an actor before he was a singer, or how he was pushed to the brink of getting a day job. I have always heard many people talk about Drake before, and have heard more people talk about him on the internet, giving me the vibe that Drake has a very strong fan base that spreads all through the world. Due to my research my assumption was correct. It seems to me that Drake is part of many people's lives and clearly will be for many years. I have never been into his music but since his songs seem to be very relatable and taken well, I might just start to. It seems that during my research I have grown a new respect for Drake, because you cannot get popular without hard work.
